In the beginning and new chapters...

Graham’s baking skills and my Cooking skills came into their own when our children were Teenagers. The Boys were always hungry so we had to find a way to stop them diving into the nearest packet.

Baking bread and dinners from scratch became a big part of our life.

One day a friend asked for a lesson in Bread Making. We were happy to share. At the end of the day as she left with arms full of bread her last words to us were “you should do this as a business”

This got us thinking and Doughtastic was created. Sharing the skills of Artisan and Italian Bread Making.

We decided that we wanted a new adventure when our children left home and we found ourselves looking for a new life in Wales. We moved to wales in August 2016, with help renovated our 1866 Welsh cottage. Now it was time to reopen the doors of Doughtastic.  In our New Doughtastic Kitchen.

One of the dreams was to enable food lovers to not only come and enjoy day workshops with us but to enjoy a longer stay. We still offer Day workshops, which include. Introduction to Artisan Breads, Italian Bread, Teatime treats and Welsh Delights.

We also offer a Stay and Bake course where you can literary come and stay and bake to your hearts desire. This is an all-inclusive Baking holiday where you can relax, bake and enjoy the beautiful surrounding.
